Historia Domaine de la Presidente sięga początków XVIII wieku, a dokładniej 1701 roku. Nazwa pochodzi od pierwszego jej właściciela Alexandra, który był także prezydentem Parlamentu Prowansji. Max Aubert w 1968 roku zapoczątkował tu produkcje wina pod znanym do tej pory nam szyldem. Obecna właścicielka, Céline Aubert, należy już do trzeciej generacji winiarzy. Posiada 110 hektarów winnic w południowej części Doliny Rodanu, w apelacjach Côtes du Rhône, Cairanne - Côtes du Rhône Villages oraz Châteauneuf du Pape. Wina są produkowane w trzech liniach: Les Grands Classiques, La Collection i Les Confidences. Do starzenia używa się beczek z dębu francuskiego, amerykańskiego i bułgarskiego. Charakter win uwydatnia tamtejszy słynny wiatr Mistral i specyficzny mikroklimat okolicy. Duże zróżnicowanie odmian winorośli wpływa dobrze na oryginalne cuvee.

"Domaine de la Presidente makes some of the finest Cotes du Rhones of
the appellation. Not surprisingly, these three cuvees are all top-notch
as well as potential sleepers of the vintage. They all possess deep
ruby/purple colors, and lots of heady black fruit character mixed with
truffle, earth, incense, and plenty of Provencal typicity. The best
balanced are the 2007 Cotes du Rhone Grands Classiques and the 2007
Cotes du Rhone-Villages Grands Classiques. They all have 4-5 years of
aging potential.
Although most of this estate’s production is
from their significant holdings in the Cotes du Rhone-Villages
appellations (especially Cairanne), they also produce excellent
