Wino wytworzone z wyselekcjonowanych owoców Petit Syrah pochodzących z najstarszych krzewów posiadłości. Po przedłużonej, 20-dniowej maceracji zostało poddane fermentacji jabłkowo - mlekowej, po czym dojrzewało w nowych dębowych beczkach przez 12 do 18 miesięcy. Wino charakteryzuje się złożonym bukietem z nutami ciemnych owoców. W ustach pełne, aromatyczne, strukturalne. Ma długi, aromatyczny finisz.

"The 2005 SYRAH was made from vines planted in 1983 and aged in oak for approximately 12 months. Despite what the label says, I am advised by the importer that this is in fact Petite Sirah. This is impressively structured, focused and penetrating, with considerable grip on the finish. It is also rather bright, elegant in the mid-palate and very gamey, giving this something of a Cote Rotie kind of feel. The gamey nuances won’t be to everyone’s taste, but this is probably the pick of the litter of this winery’s wines, as reviewed in this issue, for its persistence on the finish. The tannins will likely outlast the fruit over the long haul, but it shows quite well at the moment. Drink now-2016." 88/100 (Mark Squires). Wine Advocate, grudzień 2008
