"A light, traditional style, with dried cherry and currant notes laid over a lacy frame, with incense and mineral hints filling in on the supple finish. Tender, but balanced and lengthy" - Wine Spectator, październik 2008
"The brilliant 2005 Cotes du Rhone (a blend of 70% Grenache and the rest
primarily Cinsault) exhibits a sexy nose of strawberry jam, kirsch, and
roasted herbs followed by a medium to full-bodied wine with stunning
richness, an expansive mouthfeel, and seductive, silky tannins. One of
the finest examples of this cuvee Reynaud has made, it should drink
well for a decade.
Chateau des Tours is the family estate of
Emmanuel Reynaud, the nephew of the late Jacques Reynaud as well as the
winemaker at Chateau Rayas since 1997. His Cotes du Rhone and
Vacqueyras are two of the best value picks in the southern Rhone. His
2005s are all successful." - Wine Advocate, sierpień 2008
